Collection methods<\/p>\n<p>Personal information retained by The Tremblay Group and its divisions is collected only after the user has been informed of the purpose of the collection and has voluntarily submitted it, either through a form or by sending us an e-mail.<\/p>\n<p>The Tremblay Group and its divisions collect personal information by technological means, notably by means of forms on its Internet site, cookies, chat systems or any other element.<\/p>\n<p>ARTICLE 4 : USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION<\/p>\n<p>The Tremblay Group and its divisions use personal information about its employees and other third parties to carry out its mission and functions. We will not use personal information for purposes other than those identified at the time of collection, except with express consent or as required by law. This information may be communicated to third parties in the event of a legal obligation or when these third parties process the data on its behalf. This information includes &#8211; The computer&#8217;s anonymized IP address (the IP address is modified, preventing anyone from linking a person to the IP address); &#8211; The device&#8217;s operating system.<\/p>\n<p>An Act to modernize legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information, S.Q. 2021, c. 25, ss. 67.2.1 to 67.2.3<\/p>\n<p>The name of the Internet service provider and the user&#8217;s geographical location (region); &#8211; The pages consulted (date, time, duration and frequency of visits). It is possible for the user to configure the browser to block cookies, but this may affect the user&#8217;s experience and limit access to certain functions. You can delete cookies at any time by deleting your browsing history.<\/p>\n<p>By using the Tremblay Group website and its divisions, the user accepts that cookies may be deposited on your device.<\/p>\n<p>6.2 Third-party advertising<\/p>\n<p>The Tremblay Group and its divisions use the services of third-party sites such as Google, Facebook and LinkedIn to promote its services. When the user visits the portal, these third parties may use cookies or similar technologies to collect or receive information about browsing habits and serve to define Web behavior. Privacy measures<\/p>\n<p>The Tremblay Group and its divisions have implemented appropriate and reasonable physical, organizational, contractual and technological security measures to protect personal information against loss or theft, and against access, disclosure, copying, use or modification not authorized by law or contrary to its Privacy Governance Policy and Information Security Policy.<\/p>\n<p>The Tremblay Group and its divisions have taken steps to ensure that only those employees who absolutely must have access to an individual&#8217;s personal information in the course of their duties are authorized to access such information. Individuals working for or on behalf of The Tremblay Group and its divisions must, among other things: &#8211; Make reasonable efforts to minimize the risk of unintentional disclosure of personal information; &#8211; Take special precautions to ensure that personal information is not monitored, overheard, accessed or lost when working in premises other than the offices of The Tremblay Group and its divisions; and &#8211; Take reasonable steps to protect personal information when moving from one location to another.<\/p>\n<p>Subcontractors with access to personal information in the custody or control of The Tremblay Group and its divisions are made aware of this Policy and other applicable policies and processes to ensure the security and protection of personal information. All subcontractors must agree in writing to comply with all applicable policies, processes and laws.<\/p>\n<p>7.2 Safe navigation<\/p>\n<p>All personal information collected by The Tremblay Group and its divisions is stored in secure locations and on controlled servers located in Canada. All information exchanged over the Internet is encrypted. It is therefore impossible to intercept them, and these exchanges remain strictly confidential. The URL address beginning with \u201chttps:\/\/\u201d rather than \u201chttp:\/\/\u201d indicates to the user that the page visited is protected by the SSL (Secure Sockets Layers) protocol. The information collected is stored in a MySQL database. The human resources team and others authorized to access this information must identify themselves with a user name and password.<\/p>\n<p>The Tremblay Group and its divisions disclaim all liability for any failure to protect personal information resulting from the various services, software, files and\/or other applications installed on the device used by the visitor to browse the portal.<\/p>\n<p>ARTICLE 8 : REQUEST FOR ACCESS TO, OR CORRECTION OF, PERSONAL INFORMATION<\/p>\n<p>Any user of The Tremblay Group and its divisions&#8217; Web site may submit an access request to find out what personal information is held by The Tremblay Group and its divisions. It is also possible to request that this information be corrected. The Tremblay Group and its divisions is not responsible for the content of these sites or their privacy practices, and invites you to read their privacy policies.<\/p>\n<p>ARTICLE 10 : POLICY DISSEMINATION AND UPDATING<\/p>\n<p>The person responsible for the protection of personal information and this Policy ensures that the Policy is posted and updated on the Tremblay Group website and its divisions, and on other platforms as required.<\/p>\n<p>ARTICLE 11 : RESPONSIBILITY FOR POLICY APPLICATION AND REVIEW<\/p>\n<p>The Privacy Officer is responsible for the application and review of this Policy every three years.
